question
Ok so I have a 30 gallon tank and I am adding another 30 gallon refuge. Long story short in the process I have disturbed the sand bed and I added about 10-13 gallons from original tank to the new 30 gallon with disturbed sand. I checked my water it had
amonia .25 nitrite 0 nitrate 0-5 (the zero and five look like the same color) ph 8 how long will it take to cycle or should I not even worry about it and plumb it to my display? I put some (5 lbs) rock and some cheato in it |

I bet it will cycle fast...maybe a day or so. I would trickle it to the display for some heat and filtration.

I put a heater in there and set up an aquaclear filter, no skimmer though. temp is getting there, I am hoping it cycles fast as I am off mon and tues, but then work the rest of the week and its kinda all torn apart right now (messy) haha would like to get it all set up before I go to work haha.
