What should I do about this?

My tank is about 10 months old and I just started have more algae trouble. I need some help. I reduced my M/H lights to 5 hours with T5 actinic lights at 10 hours. I keep my refugium lights on 24/7 with cheato in there. I started feeding less and use Phosban in my refugium. What kind of algae is this and what can I do to get rid of it?

Thanks.

You are off to a good start with the cheato, Phosban, and reduced nutrients. Remove as much of the algae as possible manually. I would pull the rocks out that are easy to get out and completely remove all the algae. The more you pull out of the system the better.

I would be inclined to leave the lighting on the regular schedule.
