Seachem Mag/Alk test kit

I usually like to stick with salifert but have been able to pick up a Salifert test kit for Mag. I found a Seachem one oneline for a ridiculously low price by my standards that includes 75 Mag tests and 75 Alk test for $22.

Normally I wouldnt question it because it is Seachem, but the price actually has me leary. are these things good and just inexpensive, or is there a reason it is so cheap?

thanks

I have used sea-chem before, and it has given me Accurate test results. Is it just as accurate as Salifert ?
That i couldn't tell you, But i usually like to stick to salifert as well.

Thanks Mrme.

Anyone ever directly compared the two? Will I be the first in history?

I have used both, and the Salifert tests gave me far more accuracy. It's not to say that the Seachem one was that far off. Only about 20 or so.

One to stay away from tho is the Red Sea one... unless you like chemistry.
