Does live rock become exhausted?

My live rock is ten and 15 years old. I have good circulation and do blow them out once a month. Bought a Manderin fish and worry about enough food for it. I have a 125gal tank with at least 75lbs rock. Any thoughts?

I think you will be fine. Live rock is just like wine it gets better with age.

The best way to keep fish? Is in a frying pan, lightly breaded and seasoned with a little salt!

I disagree.
Live rock can accumulate many unwanted substances (but mainly orthophosphates) over time. Tip: search for threads regarding cooking live rock
