advice re:ozone-izer

I have been considering adding an ozone-izer. Did some online reading and my LFS suggested against it. My water is good. no ammonia, trace of nitrite & nitrate, ph 8.3. I would appreciate some advice - Thanks

traces of nitrites isn't considered "good" water. Nitrite is toxic, not as much as ammonia, but enough to kill livestock if their sensitive enough, such as corals, inverts, and many fish species.

May wanna try another test kit and/or get a LFS to test for ya.

my nitrite level is zero as per my test kit but I am being conservative in saying 'trace' same for nitrate.

What I expect the ozone to do is improve my water quality, everything looks healthy but I am always looking to improve.
Thanks again
