metal halide ballast question.
I reacntly was given a Aqualight Pro HQI 24" 150w halide lighting sytem. I want to replace my current pendant with it. My problem is that the aqualight didn't have a ballast with it (freind gave it to me). It uses a 3 prong disconnect. The light i currently use is also a 150w and uses a ballast rated for 150w but has a differeny disconnect. Can i use this ballast to power my new light? I can easy switch the diconnects. to have the new light plug into the old ballast.

Is the ballast you currently use HQI? I'm pretty sure they are totally different ballasts.

Do you currently have an HQI pendant? You should have no problems.
