CPR SR 3 Skimmer

Hi. I am an owner of a Red Sea Max. As many you may already know, the stock skimmer that comes with this tank does not work very well. I am trying to find a good replacement. A new skimmer by CPR called the SR3 recently came out. I am not sure if this will fit well in the RSM's skimmer compartment. Also, I am interested to know if anyone has any experience with how well it works and whether it has a microbubble problem. Any comments would be appreciated.
