Gen X Ozone gen?
Has anyone used the Gen X Ozone generator? I'm thinking about buying one, but it seems to be under priced compared to other brands.

Junk IMO. Mine lasted about 4 months, some of the parts melted from the ozone. Red Sea wasn't much better, though did last a year.
I have an Ozotech unit now, and like it allot. Well made. John

i have yet to buy a product manufactured by genx that is worth the packaging it's wrapped in. if you plan on being out of the hobby in a year, they make the right stuff for you. if you're in it for the long run, do not even waste your money.

Enaly makes a number of fine ozone generators for a reasonable price.

I have used a Sander 25 mg generator and was extremely pleased. I know own a aquamedic 100 mg ozone unit I just got with excellent results. They are both German made and have excellent reputations of reliability and performance. For the long run i would choose either a sander or aquamedic model.

I have a Gen-X 03 generator and will not use it anymore. It buzzes loudly but the worst thing is that you can smell the ozone coming from the unit and it's strong enough to give you a headache in a short amount of exposure time.
