Cool Noncustom Tanks

Aquariums have been getting a lot more chic lately. I'm thinking of buying one of these more modern style aquariums. Oceanic, ADA, Elos, and Zeroedge seem to have some sweet designs i'm interested in plus these come drilled and with sumps. Anyone know of other nice aquariums that you don't have to get custom made?? Anyone wanna say something about their experiences with one of these tanks??

ADA

Elos

Oceanic Tech

Zeroedge

Having seen all of them in the same room (at macna) They are all cool and have their pro's and cons. ElOS are sweet, however, if you want a canopy to hide lights and what not get the Oceanic. The big con with zero edge is the maintenance, with water going over the edge you now have algae on both sides to contend with among other things. I think alot of what you end up choosing will depend on what you want to do and your personal tastes and home aesthetic. HTH

yep, twice the algae to worry about, and you will get "dry spots" on the outside of the tank unless you are very vigilant with your cleaning. Cool idea, a lot to maintain.

also, does anyone find that mix of fish in the oceanic picture odd; Not entirely incorrect or anything, but just weird? Plus, the combination of fake and real corals. Odd.

pogo, looks to me that it is a fake drawing, most likely photshopped. I really like the zeroedge having seen it in person, but I can imagine cleaning would be a pain!

not really what i meant. I am sure its not real, or atleast mostly not real. Just thought it was an odd mix of fish presented by a company who is supposed to produce high end aquariums.

Thanks for the comments re zero edge. I was wondering how hard they would be to maintain
