The beginning
Here is a picture of the new beginning. I have not done this before and am going by research and help from friends, & people that have done this before.
http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g3...tankwlight.jpg This tank includes ocean salt water, cured lived rock. It has been cycling now for four days. As my son says, "Wow Mom, we are excited by staring at live rock". LOL |

To Reef Central good start are you monitoring your ammonia and nitrate levels--this will help you keep track of the cycling

I don't notice any power heads from the picture--you are going to need flow in that tank--suggest a korilia 1 --it gives a more diverse turbulant flow rather then a straight line laminar flow from a maxijet
