bleach,vinegar,oxyclean,acid wash?

converting a used saltwter 65 gal tank to a sump for freshwater---the tank has a large amount of coraline algae on the glass-what can i use to completely clean it with and how long should i soak it?

Vinegar and razor blades.

ratio? full strength?or---?soak time? 65 gals of vinegar would be $$$$$$$$$$$$$

Well you could go full strenght just do one side at a time

Muriatic acid will remove it much easier. Wear gloves.

either vinegar or muriatic acid will work. Just put the tank on it's side and do one side at a time. You can scrape it pretty easily. If you use the muriatic acid, I would dilute it down a bit. That stuff is strong, make sure you don't inhale the fumes.
