Presure Pump Suggestion
I want to move all my toys in the basement. Of course, the sump needs to be down there! It's about 15 feet head is what I need to pump at least minumun 1000gph to my 75 gallon tank on the first floor. Any pump suggestion that you think is reliable out there? Internal or external. No more than $300 unit, please. Thanks

Mag 24 might work, they have a head loss calculater for them on Dr.FandS. Line loss is an other issue.

One of the Pan World pressure rated pumps would fit the bill and the price range. That is, if you want an external. That would be Coralife, Blueline and probably a half dozen other brand names that all put their label on the same Pan World pumps.
Not sure of the model numbers but they do have pressure rated pumps that would meet your 1000 GPH requirement after head loss and line loss. I'm running 2 of their pumps now and they have run problem free for close to the year that I have had them. They are good pumps with relatively good price. |
