Water Mark removal

We have pretty hard water at the house, it tends to build up on the glass lids a lot.
We've tried vinegar, but to no avail.
What is good to use to remove calcium/lime deposits?

thanks
-matt

You can try Muriatic Acid but be sure to use gloves and eye protection when using it. It's pool acid, but read up on it first.
