Done Curing
I got some rock about 3 weeks ago. I put it in a 30g tub with a heater and powerhead. I tested the water and ammonia was zip. I didn't get to test anything else but supposing all other parameters are zip would it be ok to put it in my main tank.

Was the rock "cured" when you got it or was it uncured with lots of dead stuff on it?
If the rock was at the LFS for a few weeks first, it should be ok as it was "cured" before you got it. Also, how much rock in what size tank are we talking about? Adding 20 lbs of rock to a 300 gallon tank with 280 lbs of rock already in it is different than putting 20 lbs of rock in a 55 gallon tank with only 20 lbs already in it... |

It is important to test for "everything else" too appearently. When I am curing my LR, Ammonia dropped to zero within a week, but the nitrate is still up high which can probably kill everything.
Check all your levels, if your Ammonia is zero, Nitrite is zero, small amount to none nitrate, then your rocks should be good to go. |
