T5 reflectors

I recently got a Nova extreme 4-bulb T5 light with the single reflector. I think I can fit an individual reflector on two of the bulbs and not block the other two, would I see any improvement by doing this? If so can someone recommend a brand of individual reflector. Also should I use them on the 2 actinic, 2 daylight, or one of each?

TEK II reflector. It's 2.5" wide, yes you will see a difference in the light output with an individual reflector.

Are you looking for just the reflector or a retrofit (includes reflector, endcaps and ballast).

I think he already has the fixture. Yes you will see an improvement. I would do one of each.

I dont think you have the room to fit even two reflectors. If you can, you will have to tilt them. The Icecap SLR's are the king according to testing against both the TEK and TEK II. They are 2.5" wide. You would need 1 1/4" from the center of the bulb that you want to place the reflector to the edge of the neighbor bulb to even fit the reflector. Then even if it fits you will be blocking more of the reflected light from that neighbor bulb. Personally, I think it's a waste but you can always try it.

Thanks for all the replys. I'll have to do some measuring to see if it would be worth trying to fit them in.

Did you make this mod yet and if yes, can you provide some details.

Thanks!
