algae magnet
my mom has been really pushing for my front glass to be cleaner as currently i must admit its lacking but i only have a 10 dollar petsmart algea scraper. im looking to spend about sixty bucks and want your guys input as to which way to go.
will the magnavore by itself take care of coralline algae w/ some elbow grease? route 1: magnavore 55g w/ the easy blade magna http://www.algaefree.com/easy_blade.html http://www.marinedepot.com/ps_ViewIt...ct~MN1113.html route 2: magnavore 2ER http://www.marinedepot.com/ps_ViewIt...ct~MN1131.html tank is a 55 gallon with quarter inch glass. Let me know what you guys think, and especially whether or not there is a huge difference between the 2ER and the 55G thanks in advance, mike Edit/Delete Message |

why not just go with a simple mag float and keep the algae scraper for the stubborn spots? If you give it a swipe every day or other day, you won't need the scraper very much.

I have the Magnavore 6ER and it is really a nice magnet. Buy the 2ER!
