Talking t5 lighting on a 125g

hello, i was wondering what set-up would be better, a 72" 6x80 t5 setup, or 2 36" 6x(?). It would set on top of the tank. thnks in advance. also, what is better, a berlin classic skimmer or a corallife for a 220?

I think the 72" fixture would look alot nicer and that would be plenty of watts. Not sure on the skimmer, I have 2 coralife SS 65's they seem to work for me but thinking about getting one good skimmer to replace the 2.

I used to run two, 6 bulb TEK fixtures over a 125g tank. Worked like a champ.

I'd go with a 6x60" icecap retro, will work great and you'll be able to keep anything anywhere in your tank. Neither of those skimmers will be able to handle that size of a tank.
