T5 HO Question
How many 48" T5's for a 75 gal perfecto. Would 2 be enough for soft corals and LPS's.
I have traditionally used halides. I'm new to T5's and I'm trying to find the lowest cost solution for my aunt's new tank. So could I get away with 2 and keep the corals in good health?

If the LPS are not too light demanding, then I would say that they should be OK.
(4) 54W bulbs on this size tank would be ideal as it would allow you to run daylight (10K) and actinics and possibly allow a dusk/dawn setup (as long as there are 2 ballasts inside of your T5 fixture)

I use (2) overdriven T5's (10K) (Icecap Retro) and (2) 110W VHO's on my 75. It looks awesome and the Corals are doing awesome (LPS and Softies).
