Leaking bulkhead in rubbermaid bin

I'm trying to plumb a remote deep sand bed into my sytem and all was well until I noticed very slow and tiny drips coming from the bulkhead. I dissasembled the plumbing and was wondering how to keep this from leaking.

Silicone? Gasket on the inside? What would you do?

possibility of over tightening originally? if so loose then hand tighten plus 1/4 turn see if that helps. hope it does the trick for you.
