How much of a fluctuation in temp. during the course of a day is acceptable for a 40gal. reef tank?

If I see a fluctuation of 2 degrees thats alot.

Utilize 2 tank heaters and they will be easily tuned and lessen the fluctuation

+/- 2 degrees is ok. Because it is a slow fluctuation they acclimate to that.
