water test kits

I have a 30 gallon tank and it came with a test kit that tests for nitrates, ammonia; ph; akalinity; it has the powder packets to add to the test tube ; is there anything that is better, easier without breaking the bank??

yes API test kits,not too expensive and pretty accurate look here for some www.marinedepot.com under test kits

The test kit you have is Fastest. I have used them with no problem. I find them to a good kit if you don't mind the powder bag. I think there better than API. Although I use API for ease. The color indicator is easier to read on the fastest kit.
