Question on using former live rock...
I had some LR from my 20H tank that had some algae issues, so I dried it out. It's been dead for a good 6-8 months or so. I had an empty QT that was cycled and had a piece of rock in it already. So, I rinsed the dead rock well and tossed it into QT with the piece of good LR. It's been a good week or so since tossing it in. I tested the water for Nitrite (I don't have a SW ammonia kit, but figured this would do.) and got 0ppm. Is my rock just about ready to use at this point? Or should I keep it going for a while just to be sure?

IMO, it wouldn't hurt to fully cure it, 4-6 weeks to be safe.
