Life expectancy of cleaner shrimp
Hi guys
anyone got an idea how old Cleaner Shrimp can get in an aquarium? How long have you had yours? Jutta |

I've had a blood shrimp and coral banded shrimp in the same tank for about 3 years.

We had a cleaner shrimp for a year and a half before he died or, ah, went missing
|

Ive had my pair going on 2 years now.

Estimates for wild lifespans are about 2-3 years in the wild and about 4 in captivity. Of course the older yours is when you get it, the shorter you can expect to keep it.
