Unhappy help please!!

So i didn't read the instruction on the ph buffer and instead of dissolving it with water and then adding it to the tank, I added the buffer directly to the tank. And some of the buffer landed on top of my hammer head coral and cost a lot of damage to it. It made burn hoes to my hammer head bubbles.
What should i do??? please help with my stupidity...

At this point, I don't think there is much you can do as far as correcting contact damage. The damage has already been done.

was it the proper amount of buffer? if it was, not much to do. just make sure your water is as best as possible so your coral will have the best chance of healing and surviving

yes i understand your only 1 month into marine, as the other 2 guys have mentioned, the damage is done, just try to keep the tank water pure, it is surprising how robust softies are, i know i have been asking questions and reading about them for over 20 years, my point though is only 1 month in and corals is quick, slow down do some reading and listening and things will happen, and accidents will be far and few between, i believe your coral will recover, do not add any more animals for now

To make it helpful for us when you have a question......Under the Hobby Experience...you have 1 month. Also list the size of your tank & what you have in there for fish / corals / anemone...ect.ect.

Everytime you have a question, this is what your going to be asked...It will save you a lot of typing & posts...Plus you will get faster answers.

Just trying to help you..........Your corals should be fine
