Sump Refugium question
I have a 29 gallon tank I want to set up a sump for. My first question is, is a 10 gallon tank enough for a sump? Also, if I put in a phosphate reactor and carbon do I need to set up a refugium as well? If so could I put a little space in the 10gallon for it or would I need more space? Thanks for the help.

10 gallons is good 15 or 20 would be better. Fit the biggest one you can, it increases water volume, always a good thing. I use Phosban reactors for my carbon and GFO they hang on the outside of the fuge and have the pump down in the fuge.

15 gallon is just taller right? I could do a 15 if so. I wanted to do a 20 or a 20 long but my stand wont allow it. So I can do a fuge in the return portion of the sump?
