I worked in a large fish shop as an undergrad a few years back and we got them in on occaision. I put one in our large fish only tank I was responsible for and it is pretty easy to keep butterfly wise. They don't seem to be quite as hardy as your very tough fish like aurigas but they definately are fast to take to feeding.

What kind of fish do you have?

I kept one in my very first FO tank. Not as aggressive as other butterflies like auriga. Min was a hardy eater, but still got thin after several years...not sure why....
