Metal Halide Bulb Popped

They glass around the bulb popped, but it is still working. Is it ok to use?

Definately not safe to use!!! The glass around the bulb is a UV shield. Without it everything underneath it will burn horribly.

i wouldnt trust it at all.Might wanna keep an extra close eye on water and be ready for water canges just in case some thing dropped into tank.

I wouldnt. Do you know why the , glass cover ? , broke? Those bulbs arnet cheap.

One small drop splash of water will bust them every time.
