Help Needed

Hi. I'm hooking up my first chiller and have a couple simple questions.

First, the chiller doesn't tell me which is the inlet side and which is the outlet side. Does it matter? Do I just hook the pump up to which ever post I want, and the water will flow that way?

Also, the chiller is hooking up to a BioCube 29. The BioCube has 3 chambers.

The 1st chamber is where the display water ours into the back.

The 2nd chamber is where I'll keep a Fuge.

The 3rd chamber pumps water back to the display.

I want to pump water to the chiller from the 3rd chamber, then return it to chamber 2. Will that be okay?

Thanks for the help.

makes more sense if you pump the water to your chiller from the 2nd chamber to the third so cool water goes into biocube and then pushes warm water to the 1st chamber so it can be cooled.

if you do the 3rd to 2nd chamber, you will be recirculating the cool water and turning on and off your chiller, just a tought

good luck

sana

I don't think there's any difference between inlet and outlet for this piece of equipment.

Thank you both. I'll try and figure a way to return the water directly to the display. The only chamber with room enough for the pump is the 3rd chamber, but I think I can rig the return tube so it drops the water into the main tank.
