Quick question on MH lighting
Hello,
I am about to start a 12g nano build. Corals will consist of nothing but SPS. My question is, would it be better to purchase the 70w MH or the 150w? Any answers or opinions will help. Thanks! |

IMO I think 70 would be fine, the 150 may heat up the water too much.

Link should give you some more feedback. Plus using 150w will give you enough par that you could run even 20k if you would like to. |

Not sure if that link is working properly? I guess the 70w seems to be in favor. In the past i did have issues with the tank heating up. So i guess it would be better in that aspect, but I just want to make sure that the 70w mh will provide enough light for the SPS corals. It is a small tank so I would assume that it would be enough?

I fixed the link.
150 is really a popular size for your size tank. |
