Here is a pic of the broken part. Does anyone know if you can buy just the red piece?

I would contact Hydor for the replacement part. They might even replace it for free.
I asked them for the flow cones and they show up a few days later for free. |

On Saturday, I went to hydor.com and sent them an email that the base broke. It was an italian website. On Monday morning they rep in Sacramento Ca emailed me back asking for my address so he could send me a replacement part. Today a whole new base showed up at my house. I'm pretty happy with hydor and how they fixed the problem no questions asked. I even told them in the email I broke the part and wanted to know how to buy a new one.

Good to hear Hydor helped you out. I've bought a few Hydor products and have always been really happy with my purchases.
