Do you have a Fry's Electronics near you? I got four 80mm fans from Fry's for around $6 each.

Fans AC just wire in or add plug and you are ready to go.
Fans...price you see what you see PLUS what it actually costs me for packaging & shipping.
120 cubic feet of air per minute each fan http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh...readid=1266391 Email/PM me for details. |

I use 120mm Vantec Stealth fans from newegg.com . They are about $11 each, very quiet and move 53 CFM each.
Smaller fans are almost always louder since thye have to run faster to move the same amout of ait. The Stealths are a lower RPM dual ball bearing fan so they last and last if installed blowing cooler air in. |

I just answered another thread about fans on this. I would recommend the Vantec as well. I have this as well as the Silenx 120mm fans. The Silenx are rated at 72cfm and 14 db but are actually louder than the Vantec. And the Vantecs are cheaper.
I run them with the Silenx 4 fan controller. You can control the speed of 4 fans independently and plug into standard outlet. Pretty cool. |

I use cheap little desktop fans from target, they are called bahama breeze or something like that, they are around $6 each.

Also, if you will be hooking up more than one fan (I did four, as I mentioned above), make sure the AC adapter can support all four fans. Each fan will typically draw 0.2 - 0.3 amps, so make sure the AC adapter you get can supply power for the number of fans you will be hooking up to it. |
