Which pump for 178 G?
I order a new 178galon tank. Basically I want to purchase the "best" pump (energy efficiency Vs water circulation) that I can fine in the market for the return (sump)... Also I am not sure which is the correct flow for that 178galon tank.

If it's going under the tank (as opposed to a basement sump) and you want an external pump, I highly recommend the Blueline/Panworld pumps. reasonable prices, great performance curves, quiet, efficient. I just picked up my 3rd!
Check them out at some of the online dealers like Marine Depot. There are alot of other good pumps, I just have been very satisfied with their line.

Thank you Capt_Cully;
Nice pump that you recommended... please let me know which one is better the Panworld or the Iwaki MD70RLT.... I think that the Iwaki is more efficient than the Panword but probably the Iwaki needs to be replaced sooner..... Any opinion on this???? Eugenio
