green algae growing from favia brain coral

Hi a few days ago I posted a thread about what I thought may have been a problem with black spots on the coral. Then I thought to go back to a pic that I took of it the minute that I put it in the display and low and behold the spots were there from day one. So, it has not advanced at all.

I have a new topic, same coral. I notice that growing from these dark areas of the coral, actually visible spots of the LR below the animal, is a green algae. It like hair algae. Is there any way to get rid of this algae growth? I have a Yellow Tang but he is not touching it. Thanks in advance.

Dave
