What halide set should I do for SPS? Whats the best?

Ok, so I just got a 120 gallon tank and I am choosing my lighting. The tank is 4x2x2 and I want to do sps and lps and stuff on the bottom. I was wondering if someone could help me pick my setup. I am going to have a canopy so I don't need a fixture. I was thinking 2 400 watt 20k would do the trick, but I have never run halides and don't really know whats the best. I found this on sale.

Would that be good?

Save some money and go with the 250 watt. @ 24 " deep you can keep anything under 250 watt. I ran 400 watt radiums and I had to change them out at 6 months and they used more electricity.

I know they have a deal, but that is because nobody is buying them . Go with the galaxy ballast, lumenarc reflector and what ever 250 watt bulb that fit's you. you will save money in the long run, the galaxy runs cool and is energy efficient as it can be running halide.

A lot of people have some amazing aquariums under this combo

I like the radium 20K or the reeflux 12k bulb, your colors will pop!!

You can even look @ HELIOS Bulbs but they are a little too blue for a lot of people (**********.com)

I keep hearing about the electricity, I am wondering what its going to cost my on average per month and whats the difference between 250s and 400s? I was thinking since 20k gives less par that I should use more watts....

Not only is it electricity, but @ 24 inches you dont need that much par. Your corals are going to be acclimated very carefully. If this is your first set of halides a 250 watt would be better.
