carbon in media bag
Ok..have the carbon in the media bag. How much do I rinse it? A little??? Until the water runs clear???

it will take days to run clear....just get the initial dust off and clean your protein skimmer a little more often with the New carbon. Your water will look soooooo clear with the carbon.
FYI I have a 110 gallon and I use pantyhose to hold the carbon about a tennis ball size of carbon. Good luck

get a reactor the 2LF from MD or the Drs, and a PH about 100gph and run it better then the bags

yes a reactor with a ball valve to throttle flow some run a divider sponge and run half carbon and another media. and i rinse mine in cold water till dust gone then gentle shake and final rinse. change mine every 3 weeks. i also use the carbon from here,and salt mixhttp://gettankedaquariums.com/index_file/Home.Product.List.Page.File/Home.Product.List.Page...htm
