Changing ballasts on a custom light fixture?

I just ordered a 20" custom light fixture that includes a 250w HQI bulb, 2 36watt actinic Power Compacts and LED moonlights. I already own a 250w blueline E-ballast and wondered If instead of using the ballast that comes with the fixture, If I could use the one I know and trust?

The unit is made by catalina aquarium and I am not sure of their ballast brand. I know there have been mixed reviews out there with regard to their products but I have ordered a number of lighting systems from them in the past and they've worked out so I figured why not go back to the well...

Anyway, am I ok with running this on the blueline e-ballast? I am also using a 14k phoenix bulb.

You can use the blueline e-ballast if you want to. It may or may not be better than the stock Catalina ballast.
