Sump tank question
Now that I have my sump up and running a week now I looked in it last night and it is nasty. well the bottom it has like dust I assume from the rocks detrius? not sure so now am I supose to empty out the sump to clean it? or jsut leavi it and do water changes normally //...
I have about 10 little pieces of rocks in there and I assume that is what made the dust or debris I have the reactors on there so to remove it and cleanit will be a pain. cannot really see the rocks in the pic it was a towel on the floor to collect new water when I first put it up whileon the subject how often do you have ot clean out the reactors

I scrub it with an aquarium safe sponge to stir it up, then syphon it out... I also have heard of using wet/dry vacs to get it out.
