What fish to get?
Hey All,
I have a 46 g tank, and was wondering how much or what type of fish i can put in there. i was thinking of first adding a pair of clowns. and i want a firefish. i really love those yellow tangs, but i think my tank is too small..... Anything other suggestions? Thanks!

I would stay with smaller fish. Definitely not a tang. I have a 45gal and have a Filamented Flasher Wrasse, yellow wrasse, orange spotted goby, flame tail blenny, coral beauty.... At least that'w what I did.
Good luck |

What kind of clowns? Perhaps a royal gramma?

What i am afraid of if i do put a goby is that it will dig into the sand, and the rocks will fall on him, since i did not put the LR's first and then the sand. Also i only have about 1.5 inches of sand. how much sand does a goby need?

A small yellow tang would be ok for about a year. you will want a larger tank by then anyway.

I wouldn't even put the tang in there. Wait til you get a bigger tank.
