Talking Hi, New guy here

Hello all,
My name is Justin and I have been taking care of my 24 gallon reef tank for a little over 2 months now. I'm in love with saltwater tanks and love the way people react when they see that I have one. Well, I would love to learn a lot more than I already know and I hope I can from this community.
Now for my tank:
24 gallon aquapod
I'm spraying with 150 shot of metal halide with 22k mega chrome
CSS65 Skimmer

Welcome to RC. Tank looks great, and it seems like you already have some growth on some of those SPS! Is it just the clown and cherub that's in there fish wise?

Your hammer would like it above the SB. This would help.

That's not a hammer that is a frogspawn...looks good to me though.

As for the tank, the tank looks great but who ever took those pictures really needs to improve their tank picture skills.

Yes. A friend that showed me the ropes, more like a close family member told me thats it for fish so I can continue to have great growth in corals.

Well it seems like your off to a good start, and way to show restraint. You'll be reaping the benefits soon enough.

He grazes along and nips at rocks but doesn't seem to do anything with the corals. he is never around. He seems to hang out a lot with the clown though.

Well the tank is 2 years old. I bought it from a friend that was upgrading and turned out he sent his tank back so I inherited all of the coral.

very beautiful, nicely done. i did notice on the tips of your birdsnest you have some alage growing on it, if you clip off the dead parts where the alage is the corals will grow much better.

actually I got rid of the rbta becuase he kept moving around and I didn't want him to sting my corals. The clown is actually hanging out in the frog spawn and wasn't even around the rtba.

We need to get some pictures of that Blue Tort that you just got as an exchange for the RBTA...also those pictures don't really do the tank any justice because the skimmer was throwing a ton a micro bubbles into the tank. I will do a better job next time since we soaked the skimmer in vinegar.
