skimmer?
would a Ps75 protien skimmer work on a 75g tank, i need a cost effective HOB skimmer that cost less then $100

NO, IME there is no such animal as a "cost effective skimmer", You want a fair skimmer you look at spending at least $200, for a good one $300. Buying a used one might save you some cash, but good used ones are hard to come by.

you are not going to find a hob skimmer that can handle a 75 that great and no way in heck under $100. I would agree with kaiser wait alittle while save some and build a sump and get a good skimmer...
