No Name /No Brand RO Membrane

I asked this in the general forum, and didnt really get a good answer so I will try here. I have a Purely h2o 75gpd optima vision. I started loosing production rate in the di. It went from about 200g down to 75g. I replaced the sediment and carbon at 6 months, and looked at the membrane and discovered that it is not a Dow Filmtec. No name or brand and the serial # doesnt match the Dow. I contacted purely h20 and they said that the Dow name is removed proprieitarly due to high volume of wholesale and different vendors. They insist that I got what I paid for and they do not scam customers. What do you guys think? Has this happened to anyone else?
