Remove silicone from glass?

Bought a used tank that was used as a sump but the guy had acrylic and it buckled. I removed the acrylic and now there are residue of silicone on the glass, how do I go about removing it? I know silicone does not bond well with itself so I would like to get it all off so I can finish my sump

I used to work at a glass shop and we used very fine steel wool and glass cleaner for lubrication. Worked well and didn't scratch the glass.

Dont use glass cleaners on the inside of a tank you plan to put saltwater in, most have ammonia in them, also i wouldnt use steel wool because you can leave little pieces of steel in the silicone corners and it will rust and release toxins later.

Vinager, and a terry cloth will help, but most importantly, a very sharp razor blade.

I agree with the razor blade idea. I have also had some success with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. As far as I know, the eraser is just a sponge.
