How to set-up a Deltec Kalkwasser Stirrir

Great story, my LFS is moving to another location and they were throwing out a barely used Deltec KM500S. I asked if I could take it, and they said sure!
So now that I have a free Kalk stirrer, I figure I might as well use it.
Does anyone have picture of explanation of how they have their kalk stirrer tied into their system? I'm thinking of purchasing an AquaLifter dosing pump to pump water from my RO reservoir through the kalk stirrer and into the tank.
I've never used kalk before, so I don't know a lot about proper mixing techniques or solutions. Can someone clue me in, or post some links that I could do some reading on?
