Rinsing frozen food
I have always rinsed my frozen food before feeding but now wonder if I'm also rinsing off all the vitamins etc. that were added...

I think if your tank is in great shape with good readings then the small amount it may contain would be removed . Feeding less more times helps.

I don't know the answer to that, but I do know that most experienced reefers rinse their frozen food...

To be a true reefer its all about control.There all control freaks.
The term reefer is over used.A true reefer rinses his food and keeps water quality high. For the most beutiful reef tank then this is whats needed. This is a sensitive eco system that is still young and needs attention.2 big dogs are easier and less expensive. Theres a comitment whene setting up a reef tank. |
