Lighting for a 3x3x2 tank
Just wondering how many MH and wattage for this custom size tank. I will be going heavy SPS. Being that this is a odd shape don't know if I should go 2- 250 or 4- 150. I don't know if 2- 250 will have enough coverage.
TIA Mike

One 400w SE in a large lumenarc will be plenty. You'll need it 12"-14" off the top of the tank. I run two over a 48x48x25 and I can grow SPS anywhere.

We run two 400's in lumenbrights on our 4x3x2 and love them, You could run two or probably get away with one, but I prefer the lumenbrights over the lumenarcs because you can raise them higher for better coverage and still get much better penetration without losing a lot of light out the sides....

I run them side by side. I originally ran them with t5 fixtures, but took the T5 fixtures down.
