Help with Lighting 180gal mixed reef

I just got a 180 gal AGA with the Mission Canopy/Stand.
Tha canopy dimensions are 72X24X8. I was thinking of retro fitting 8 36 inch T5 (Ice Cap 660) or putting a 72 inch Constellation in there. I would have more flexibility with the Constellation but Im worried about excess heat in the canopy. Im also concerned that 8 X 36 may not provide enough light. Any thoughts?

Check out the pictures of my old 110 gal setup in my gallery. I used 2 250W DE and 2 54w T5 that I retrofitted in to my canopy. The conopy was only 6 inches tall. Having the metal hallide fixtures mounted outside the canopy also helped with heat.

You could probably do the same with 3 metal halides and 4-8 39w t5 bulbs.
