New RO membrane

How much water do I have to run through a new RO membrane before it's saturated and ok to use? Should I just run water until I get 0 TDS reading post membrane?

Thanks
Ryan

You need to run about 1 or so gal's of water through the membrane.

You will not get 0 TDS's from just the membrane. You will only get 0 TDS's after the DI stage.
