Nemo Dissapeared!
My clown wasn't doing too hot but I didn't have a QT and wanted to see if he could recover on his own... Apparently not... I woke up this morning and he is GONE... I thought he might be hiding so I waited a while and nothing... So I figured he was dead laying somewhere in the tank so I started moving rock and looking EVERYWHERE, and nothing. Is it possible my CUC ate him? All I have is 3 little hermit crabs...

He went down the dentist drain in the middle of your room and is now out at sea with his dad. Didn't you see the movie?

You have a sump/overflow on your tank? Look in there if so.

I have an aquapod with a lid so I know he didn't jump..
powerhead is koralia so nowhere for him to be... I looked in the back too where the filter is... nothing there either... only one rock I didn't move but I can see pretty much all around it... |

I had the same problem and it turned out I had a crab stowed away in my rock that I didn't know I had....

My guess would be your hermits ate him. I had a Turbo Snail bigger than a clown and I have 3 hermits that made short work of it when it drowned on it's back.

When I get home I am going to check the tank again but I am stumped... My dad said he saw him swimming around just an hour and a half before I woke up and saw no sign of him... Isn't that a little fast to be eaten? I have 1 pretty big sized astrae snail but didn't think he was capable of eating a fish... and 3 little hermits... fish was pretty small... about an inch...maybe an inch and a half... those hermits are pretty active though...

I have had a couple small fish over the past few years disappear. You'd be surprised how fast your clean up crew can go through a small fish.

I have had fish disappear like that too. In a 10 gal with no where to go . It is weird.
Is there any opening at the back of the cover? If so check the floor, I had a fish jump and hit the lights and bounce out the back once. |
