Another question

So I took the light off my old 55g freshwater tank and put it on my 75 g. Will this light we ok until I buy lights for my canopy? Its only one bulb thats 48in 30 watts. There is only water and sand in my tank right now. Sorry if anyone thinks this is a pointless question im still new

As long as you don't have any corals it will be fine.

this would depend on how long you are going to keeping the existing light system

Your lighting should be fine but definitely upgrade to T5, Metal Halide, or LED before adding corals.
