New Tank Pictures
Been up for 3 months and the only fatalities are 2 RBTAs. One was lost to a powerher and another to bad silversides . Equipment: 55g 29 sump/refug Coralife Super Skimmer 4 IceCap 660 T5s TLF Phosphate Reactor Sorry for the pics I am a horrible photographer |

just wondering..do your T5's come with a one single reflector OR individual reflectors around each bulb? Also how much wattage?

Individual reflectors, I went with the SLR reflectors. 4x39 watt but they are overdriven to 60watts each.

individual reflectors are one of the main reasons t5's are great. they are so skinny that a good portion of that light can be reflected down into the tank, maximizing your light output per bulb. putting 4 or 5 in 1 reflector greatly reduces the efficiency of the reflector so alot of your light won't be going down, where you want it to go.
spend the money, get individual reflectors. you'll be happy you did.

Looking good, what are the dimensions on the 55 gallon? I have never seen one wide like that.
